Get complimentary Priority Pass lounge access, complimentary Hertz President’s Circle Status, a $300 travel credit, plus many general travel benefits. The $300 travel credit nearly wipes out the entire $395 annual fee, which is a great bonus.

Reconsideration

Card benefits
Auto Rental Collision Insurance
Get primary coverage on car rentals, worldwide except for in Israel, Jamaica, the Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland, for a max of $75,000 per rental.
You will get coverage for cars rented for up to 31 days. You will get reimbursed for rentals that suffer collision damage and theft.
You must pay for the rental with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage.
Cell Phone Protection
Get reimbursed if your cell phone gets damaged or stolen. You will get reimbursed for cell phone repairs or replacement, for up to $800 per claim with a maximum of 3 claims per year.
This includes a $50 deductible per claim.
You must pay your monthly cell phone bill with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage.
Extended Warranty Protection
Get up to a year of extended warranty on purchases you make inside and outside the U.S. The original manufacturer’s warranty time on the purchase will be matched, up to a year, and max $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per account.
You will only get coverage if the original warranty is for 3 years or less.
You must pay for at least part of the purchase with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage.
Foreign Transaction Fee
There are no foreign transaction fees on this card.
Global Entry and TSA pre-check
Get a statement credit for Global Entry or for TSA Pre-check
Lost Luggage Reimbursement
Get reimbursed for carry-on and checked-in luggage that is lost or stolen during a trip.
Get a max of $3,000 per trip, and a max of $2,000 for residents of N.Y.
You must pay for at least part of the trip with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage. The cardholder and the cardholder’s immediate family members will be covered.

Purchase Protection
Get reimbursed for replacements and repairs, or just reimbursed for new purchases that are stolen or damaged within 90 days from the date of purchase.

Return Protection
Get refunded for new purchases that are no longer under the store return policy and that are within 90 days from the date of purchases.

Travel Accident Insurance
Get coverage for the loss of a limb, sight, speech, hearing, fingers, and loss of life if it occurs on a common carrier. Common carriers are motorized land, water, and air transportation vehicles that are operated by an organization to transport passengers for pay.
Get up to $1,000,000.
You must pay for the trip with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage. The cardholder and the cardholder’s immediate family members will be covered.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
Get covered a max of $2,000 per person if your trip is canceled or interrupted due to reasons which include but are not limited to; a medical emergency or severe weather conditions.
You must pay for the trip with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage. The cardholder and the cardholder’s immediate family members will be covered.
Trip Delay Reimbursement
Get reimbursed up to $500 per person if your flight is delayed for more than 6 hours or requires you to stay overnight.
You can get covered for expenses such as meals, lodging, toiletries, and medication, and other personal use items.
You must pay for at least part of the trip with your Venture X card in order to be eligible for coverage. The cardholder and the cardholder’s immediate family members will be covered.
Anniversary Bonus Points
Get 10,000 anniversary points every year.
Upgraded Status
Get complimentary Hertz President’s Circle Status for you and for your authorized users.

Get $300 travel credit when you book any travel that includes flight, hotel, and car rentals, through the Capital One Travel portal. You will get the credit each card membership year.
