As of May 1, 2023, the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card will be undergoing some changes to its benefits.
Here are the details.
New benefits coming!
As of 05/01/23, the following benefits will be added to the Amazon Prime card:
- 5% cashback on purchases made through Chase Travel
- 2% cashback on local transit and commuting, including rideshares.
Discontinued benefit
At the same time, cardmembers will no longer receive 2% cashback at drugstores.
Continued benefits
Some good things don’t change! Following are current card benefits that are continuing as usual:
- 5% cashback at Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market with eligible prime membership
- 2% cashback at gas and restaurants
- 1% cashback on all other purchases
